The Jeonbuk Namwon City Office of Education announced on the 15th that the previous day, a campaign was conducted on the way to school at Namwon Gyoryong Elementary School, Namwon Elementary School, and Yongseong Middle School under the slogans "Respected Teacher" and "Beloved Student" to protect educational activities and foster a desirable school culture.
The campaign was attended by Shin Byung-gi, Superintendent of Namwon City Office of Education, Jung Yu-mi, President of Namwon City Parents' Association, and officials from the Namwon City School Operation Committee Chairpersons' Council.

Jung Yu-mi, President of the Parents' Association, stated, "We expect that by preventing interference with educational activities and improving the relationship between teachers and students, respect for teachers' authority will naturally become a reality." She added, "Since this campaign was led mainly by parents, it holds even greater significance in the hope that a happy school culture where teachers and students can smile together will spread further."
An official from the Namwon City School Operation Committee Chairpersons' Council said, "We will actively participate in creating happy classrooms where both student rights and teachers' authority coexist harmoniously."
The attending parents also conveyed their commitment to practice to the school principals immediately after the teacher authority protection campaign.
