Lee Da-young (26) is joining the French professional volleyball league team Volero Le Cannet.
On the 10th (Korean time), Volero announced, "We have signed 179 cm tall setter Lee Da-young. Her experience will be beneficial to the team."
Lee Da-young, who was the starting setter for the South Korean women's national volleyball team, lost her place in the Korean professional volleyball V-League after being accused of school violence in February 2021.
In October of the same year, she transferred to the Greek league and played the 2021-2022 season with PAOK Thessaloniki. In May of the following year, her contract with the club expired, and she left the team.
Afterwards, Lee Da-young played the 2022-2023 season with Rapid Bucure?ti in the Romanian professional volleyball league.
Struggling due to injuries, Lee Da-young transferred to France's Volero this season and will compete for the starting setter position with 2004-born Viktoriia Kovbsar (Russia).
Meanwhile, Lee Jae-young, who also entered the Greek league, returned to South Korea in early November 2021, less than a month after joining the league, due to a left knee injury.
