Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) held the ‘Gratitude Full of Gifts’ event at the Gwanak-gu Office auditorium on the 22nd to express thanks to distinguished residents who practiced sharing for neighbors in need.
The ‘Gratitude Full of Gifts’ event was an occasion to convey appreciation and present commendation certificates to supporters of the ‘2023 Warm Winter Campaign,’ jointly conducted by Gwanak-gu and the Seoul Social Welfare Community Chest. The event was graced by 70 distinguished residents and 10 sponsors.
During the ‘2023 Warm Winter Campaign,’ the warm hearts of Gwanak-gu residents manifested in various forms: ▲scholarships supporting the dreams of children and youth ▲donations collected bit by bit by members of professional organizations ▲replacement costs for old boilers ▲home repair expenses such as wallpapering and flooring ▲purchase costs of briquettes for households using briquettes ▲support funds for youth preparing for independence ▲rice delivered to grandparent-headed families ▲homemade kimchi ▲lunch boxes for children at risk of missing meals, and other warm gestures of support.
