[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the morning of the 25th, President Moon Jae-in and his wife visited the Jongno-gu Public Health Center and received their 4th COVID-19 booster shot using the Pfizer vaccine.
The Jongno-gu Public Health Center is where President Moon and his wife received their 1st and 2nd doses.
President Moon and his wife received their 3rd dose on October 15th last year at the Central Vaccination Center within the National Medical Center, but since the National Medical Center is currently not administering COVID-19 vaccinations, they received the booster at the Jongno-gu Public Health Center where they had their 1st and 2nd doses.
The Blue House stated, "This 4th dose for President Moon and his wife was administered in accordance with the 4th dose plan for seniors aged 60 and above, announced and implemented by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency on April 13th."
The 4th dose can be administered at least four months after the 3rd dose.
