According to the Yecheon County Election Commission on the 9th, voter A discovered that their name was marked as a "voted person" while checking their name to vote at the polling station set up at Nambu Elementary School in Yecheon County, Gyeongbuk, that morning.


The police and the election commission are investigating the circumstances under which A's name was marked as having voted.


A representative of the Yecheon County Election Commission said, "A non-voter's name was marked as a voted person, and we are looking into the circumstances."


Suspicions of identity theft for voting are spreading rapidly, especially in the affected area.
