Global outdoor brand The North Face is the official sponsor of the July event of the ‘2020 Miracle 365 Virtual Run’ hosted by singer Sean.
The ‘2020 Miracle 365 Virtual Run’ is part of the charity marathon ‘Miracle 365 Run’ organized by singer Sean. It is a virtual running event where participants choose their preferred time and place to complete the run, aligning with the untact trend due to social distancing in daily life. Additionally, the entire fundraising goal of 36.5 million KRW will be donated to the Purme Foundation to support rehabilitation treatment costs for children with disabilities receiving care.
The event will have 1,000 participants, with an entry fee of 36,500 KRW. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the ‘Miracle 365’ application until the 13th.
Participants will receive a 'Runner Package' consisting of The North Face official race running T-shirt, commemorative medal, and bib number, which can be picked up at over 90 The North Face stores nationwide. Additionally, a discount coupon for The North Face running shoes ‘Flight Trinity (FLIGHT TRINITY)’ will be provided as an extra benefit.
Running verification can be done from the 19th to the 27th by using a GPS-based running measurement application to run a chosen distance of 3km, 5km, 10km, or 21km. Participants must then verify their run on personal social media with mandatory hashtags including #TheNorthFace. Among those who verify their run, 30 participants will be selected by lottery to receive an additional gift of The North Face eco T-shirt made with recycled plastic bottle fabric.
