Following a string of covers and parody videos, Korean solo artist PSY will premiere a new music video to his internationally known hit song "Gangnam Style."
PSY's manager told the magazine in a phone interview Thursday that the second version to "Gangnam Style" will become available soon.
"We are still working out the schedule on when it will be released. The new music video will use the same melody though it will have different lyrics,” his manager explained, adding that 4minute’s rapper Hyun-a will co-star along PSY in the video.
Since its release on July 15, PSY's "Gangnam Style" topped a number of online and offline music charts while the music video has gone 'viral' and has been viewed over 20 million times (as of August 9).
Hollywood big names such as hip-hop artist T-pain, singers Josh Groban and Robbie Williams have recommended that fans view the video by posting about it on their official Twitter accounts, while news channel CNN covered the boom of PSY's catchy tune and music video.
Meanwhile, the "Gangnam Style" singer is prepping for his sold-out summer concert which will open at Seoul's Jamsil Sports Complex on August 11.
