Tickets to actor Joo Sang-wook's fan meeting in Japan next month have been all sold out, his agency Madin Entertainment announced on Thursday.
Joo, who is currently playing the male lead as Choi Jae-ha in MBC’s weekend series “Gods,” saw all 1,000 tickets sell out to his event which is set to take place at the Stella Hall in Tokyo on April 8, and added another session with the same number of tickets in the afternoon on the same day.
“I was surprised to hear that the tickets were all sold out in a very short time. I hope this event will give me a chance to talk to my fans and become close with them,” Joo said through the statement.
At the event, Joo plans to sing a song he picked himself in front of all his local fans, Madin's rep added.
This will be Joo's second time meeting his fans in Japan after launching his official Japanese fan club last June.
Joo has been rising to stardom in Japan after his starrers such as "Giant" (SBS, 2010), "The Thorn Birds" (KBS, 2011) and "Paradise Farm" (SBS, 2011) hit the small screens in the country last month.
