SISTAR, Boyfriend to hold 1st fan event in Singapore next month

K-pop idols SISTAR and Boyfriend will hold their first joint fan event in Singapore next month, according to their agency Starship Entertainment.

An official with Starship told 10Asia on Monday that the two groups will visit Singapore for their event titled "SISTAR & BOYFRIEND 1st Fan meeting in Singapore" which will take place at the Suntec Convention Hall on February 26.

"Both groups are really excited for the upcoming fan meeting and are working hard in preparing for it. They will sing their hit songs, play games and hold a question and answer session with fans," the official explained.

Composed of members Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou and Dasom, SISTAR released their debut single "Push Push" in June 2010. The girls recently promoted their first studio record "SO COOL" which scored them wins on televised music programs upon its release in October last year.

Boyfriend, formed of Dong-hyun, Hyun-seong, Jeong-min, Young-min, Kwang-min and Min-woo, splashed onto the music scene with their self-titled single album in June 2011. They followed it up with their second single album "Don't Touch My Girl" and have been busy promoting their third single "I'll Be There."
