Korean boy band Super Junior and SISTAR celebrated their wins on televised music programs over the weekend.
Super Junior continued to reign KBS' Friday music program "Music Bank" with their latest dance tune "Mr. Simple" for their fifth consecutive win.
"Mr. Simple," from their fifth full-length album of the same name, has dominated a number of online and offline music charts since its release on August 2.
Meanwhile, girl group SISTAR took home their first win ever on SBS' Sunday show "Inkigayo" since making their debut in June last year.
The four-member girl group burst into tears as their song "So Cool," from their first studio release of the same name, was named the top song during the second week of September.
Composed of members Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou and Dasom, SISTAR released their debut single "Push Push" in June last year and returned to the music scene last December with their single "How Dare You" which fared well on various online music charts.
