KBS daily drama “Smile Again,” scored another win on weekly TV charts for a third consecutive week, according to the results shown by two major media research firms on Monday.
“Smile Again” yielded an average viewership rating of 34.1 percent on Total National Multimedia Research's (TNmS) chart and 33.7 percent on AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (AGB) poll, both showing similar ratings from last week.
In last week’s episode, Bong-i’s family discovers that Anna (played by Do Ji-won) and her son Dong-hae (Ji Chang-wook) have left the house secretly. Kim Joon gets caught by his wife Hye-sook (Jeong Ae-ri) and his son Do-jin (Lee Jang-woo) at the airport while trying to leave to the United States with Anna and Dong-hae.
Another KBS family drama “My Love, My Family,” came in second on the TV chart, after posting an average viewership rating of 21.9 percent on TNmS’ report and 22.6 percent on AGB’s survey.
The latest episodes showed Han Seung-woo (Lee Sang-woo), the head of the art gallery, showing interest in his employee Hye-jin (Park Joo-mi) despite the fact that she is married and has a daughter.
Meanwhile, while TNmS placed “KBS 9 o' clock News” third on the chart with an average viewership rating of 21 percent, AGB had KBS variety show “Happy Sunday” take the No.3 spot with a viewership rating of 21.2 percent
Other shows that succeeded in grabbing viewers’ attention for the past week were comedy show “Gag Concert,” SBS drama “Sign,” MBC drama “Flames of Desire,” KBS drama “Dream High,” and variety shows “World Changing Quiz,” and “Golden Fishery.”
