Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk is poised to make a long run with his first official album, "Just Crazy."After moving 88,000 copies between May 30 and June 4, the actor and singer broke Oricon's record by becoming the first foreign solo artist in the coveted chart's history to score double wins on its daily and weekly charts with the first official album. This comes as no surprise as Jang's "Just Crazy" already logged around 130,000 copies in sales within 24 hours of going into release. The next highest-ranking overseas solo artists are American musician Skatman John and K-pop artist K, who concurrently sat at the second spot on both charts in 1995 and 2006, respectively. As his first single "Let Me Cry," dropped in April last year, also topped both charts upon its release, he set another record of becoming the first solo artist in 17 years and four months to have both single and full-track albums sit atop the two charts.Meanwhile, Jang is scheduled to hit the road for his Asia tour, dubbed "THE CRI SHOW 2," starting with Seoul in July. He will then take the show to four cities in Japan -- Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka --, two cities in China -- Shanghai and Shenzen -- , Taiwan and Thailand in order, the officials said.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
