Girls' Generation member Sooyoung [SM Entertainment]
Girls' Generation's member Sooyoung will join the cast of an upcoming medical series set to air on cable channel tvN, according to the show's promoter CJ E&M on Tuesday. CJ E&M announced in a press release that Sooyoung will play a violinist named Wee-jin in tvN's new Monday and Tuesday drama "The Third Hospital" which will begin shooting early next month."The Third Hospital" will surround the story of doctors working in a neurosurgery department in an alternative hospital that adopts both western and oriental medical practices. The series, scheduled to premiere in late July, will also star actors Oh Ji-ho, Kim Seung-woo and actress Kim Min-jung.
