Ji Sung, Kim A-joong tapped to star in new romantic comedy

Korean actor Ji Sung and actress Kim A-joong have been tapped to star in an upcoming romantic comedy, according to a press release from its producer CJ Entertainment. CJ announced on Monday that Ji Sung will play Hyun-seung who still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend and Kim the role of Yoon-jung in the film "My P.S. Partner" (translated title) scheduled to crank in next month. "My P.S. Partner," helmed by Byun Sung-hyun, will tell the story of how Hyun-seung, who gets dumped by his girlfriend, and Yoon-jung, who is about to get dumped by her boyfriend, get entangled after a mistaken phone call. This will be Ji Sung's return to the big screen in four years after his last film "Fate" and Kim's comeback in six years after "200 Pounds Beauty." Ji Sung, whose real name is Kwak Tae-gun, made his acting debut in 1999 and has since starred in a number of series such as "Kaist (SBS, 1999)," "All In (SBS, 2003)," "Royal Family (MBC, 2011) and recently in "Protect the Boss" and in films "Whistling Princess" and "Blood Rain." Kim, 29, gained attention through her first mobile phone commercial in 2004 after which she appeared in a couple movies and dramas.
