Top Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, along with director Brad Bird, will visit Korea in December to promote the fourth installment of film "Mission Impossible," according to its producer Brian Burk on Monday. "Tom Cruise and Brad Bird will be in Korea this December," Burk stated during the special 30-minute sneak peek screening of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" held in Seoul on Monday. He added, "They were unable to make it today since they are busy putting the final touches to the movie." An official with the film's local distributor CJ Entertainment also said they are currently in discussions with Tom Cruise's agency regarding his visit. "Ghost Protocol," also starring Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg, tells of how the IMF (Impossible Mission Force) is shut down when it is implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin which leads to Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and his team to clear the organization's name. Tom Cruise made his major film debut in Francis Ford Coppola's "The Outsiders" which was released in March 1983. He landed his first leading role in "Risky Business" six months later and has since starred in a number of films such as "A Few Good Men" (1992), "Jerry Maguire" (1996) "Minority Report" (2002) and "War of the Worlds" (2005). He was also nominated for three Academy Awards and has won three Golden Globe Awards. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
