JYJ expresses satisfaction on world tour

With only two more concerts from their world tour left, male band JYJ has expressed satisfaction to their shows so far, according to a press release by the group’s promoter Prain on Monday. “I tried to create a stage that allows artists to exert their potential to the fullest,” member Jaejoong, who has also assumed the role of stage director for the current tour, was quoted as saying in the statement. “I made efforts in particular to understand the culture of the respective city we would go to so that we would communicate better with the local fans… It worked and I felt happy being to be able to feel a special connection with our fans and I feel grateful to everyone who has come to our concert.” Junsu said, “We worked with the best team for our performance in North America, namely those who have done choreography for Beyonce and Christina Aguilera. My favorite part is when the dance team raised their thumbs up after the performance was over or when the local staff complimented us for being in a perfect harmony for our performance... Their praises came a lot meaningful to me since they have worked with big world stars. It makes us feel more hopeful of our potential.” “We are getting tougher by time. I can feel that we are heading in the right direction… and I’m proud that our concert is turning out to be more organized and improving every time we hold a performance," Yuchun explained.JYJ kicked off the first leg of the world tour early last month, holding concerts in Thailand on April 2, Taipei on April 23 and Beijing on May 7, which attracted over 50,000 fans in Asia alone. They then flew to North America to hold concerts in Vancouver, Canada on May 22, New Jersey on May 24 and Los Angeles in May 24, bringing in another 25,000 fans in total.The group is now set for their final concert in America in San Jose on June 3 and will head to Japan to hold a charity concert on June 7. They will then return to Korea to hold a two-day finale concert in Busan City for June 11 and 12.
