Jang Keun-suk sees sold out showcase in Japan

Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk's showcase celebrating the release of his upcoming album in Japan has sold out, according to his agency Tree J. Company on Monday. Tree J. announced in a press release today that tickets for Jang's showcase, which will be held in Tokyo on March 27, sold out as soon as they went on sale yesterday. The showcase will commemorate the release of his Japanese single titled "Let Me Cry" which will be unveiled on March 23. "I was extremely happy to hear news that tickets for my showcase have sold out," Jang was quoted as saying. "I am looking forward to this showcase because I have great memories regarding my fans from my Asia tour and other events." The actor was recently in the country for the press conference of an upcoming film whose translated titled is "You're My Pet" with Korean actress Kim Ha-neul. In the new film, Jang will play a guy who coincidentally becomes a human-pet to a lonely career woman, played by Korean actress Kim Ha-neul, who excels at the workplace but is inexperienced at relationships.Jang made his debut in the entertainment business at the early age of five as a catalog model. His TV debut came in 1997 with the cable channel HBS’ sitcom “Happiness For Sale” and has since appeared in numerous dramas including youth sitcom “Non Stop 4” (MBC, 2004), historical drama “Hwang Jinny” (KBS, 2006).He rose to super stardom in Korea and throughout Asia after starring in the SBS hit series "He's Beautiful" as the eccentric lead singer of the idol group A.N.JELL. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
