The 1 Company 1 School Financial Education program, organized by the Financial Supervisory Service, is an educational initiative in which financial companies enter into partnership agreements with elementary, middle, and high schools to provide systematic financial education.
Last year, NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance partnered with 88 schools, including Gwangsi Middle School in Yesan-gun, Chungnam, providing hands-on financial education to a total of approximately 4,600 students.
In particular, the company achieved the honor of winning in this category for the fourth consecutive year by offering a variety of programs last year, such as "Smart Allowance Management," "Prevention of Financial Fraud and Crime," and "Career Mentoring in the Financial Sector," all conducted directly by employees based on their practical experience.
Song Chunsoo, CEO of NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, stated, "The 1 Company 1 School Financial Education program is a meaningful activity that helps young people recognize the value of finance and grow into responsible economic participants," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility as a financial institution and expand on-site, field-oriented educational support."
Meanwhile, National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, NongHyup Financial Group, NongHyup Property & Casualty Insurance, NongHyup Bank, and NongHyup Life Insurance plan to expand customized financial education programs not only for students but also for farmers, seniors, and other target groups.
