Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications from companies wishing to participate in its overseas marketing support program utilizing trade experts until March 15, 2026.
This initiative is designed to provide customized consulting-such as developing overseas marketing strategies and identifying buyers-to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province that need export experience and professional personnel, by supporting experienced trade experts.
The trade experts are professionals with more than 20 years of experience in export and import work across various industries, and they will closely support the entire export process for participating companies. In particular, each company can directly select a trade expert who best matches their industry and export conditions.
The monthly fee for a trade expert per company is 550,000 won, of which Gyeonggi Province will subsidize 385,000 won, or 70%.
This year, Gyeonggi Province plans to support approximately 110 exporting SMEs in the province, dividing the support between the first and second halves of the year.
Companies wishing to participate should prepare the necessary documents, such as a business registration certificate and export performance certificate, and apply through the 'Gyeonggi Business Secretary' website (www.egbiz.or.kr).
Gyeonggi Province will select companies after a review process and will notify each selected company individually via email at the end of this month.
Park Kyungseo, Director of International Trade at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We hope that this close consulting support from trade experts will enable exporting SMEs in the province to pioneer new overseas markets and further strengthen their export capabilities. Gyeonggi Province will continue to provide support to enhance the global competitiveness of local SMEs."
