GS Retail announced on the 25th that it held a sharing event titled "A Warm and Special Meal Shared by GS Retail and Edward Lee" at Anna's House, a social welfare foundation in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The event was joined by Heo Seohong, CEO of GS Retail, the in-house volunteer group "GS Nanumi," Chef Edward Lee, and Father Kim Hajong of Anna's House. The participants helped meal program users by working together from cooking and serving to clearing dishes and cleaning up afterward.

This event was organized with the intention of giving back to society in appreciation for customers' support of the GS25 Edward Lee collaborative products. Since their launch in December last year, a cumulative total of 2.2 million units of the GS25 Edward Lee collaborative ready-to-eat meals have been sold over two months. The "Edward Lee Pork Ribs & Hamburg Steak Lunchbox," which was at the center of the day's meal, has recorded sales of 800,000 units, reflecting its strong reception.
For dinner, GS Retail prepared 600 servings of the "Edward Lee Pork Ribs & Hamburg Steak Lunchbox," which features hamburger steak and barbecue pork ribs served with Chef Edward Lee's special beef Ssamjang sauce. After the meal, each user was also given one roll of gimbap from the Edward Lee collaboration line. Chef Edward Lee commented, "It was meaningful to be able to share the abundance, love, and consideration embodied in Korean food with our neighbors."
Kwak Changheon, Head of Sustainability Management at GS Retail, said, "The first principle in the way our company works is 'customer first,' and this applies equally to our social contribution activities," adding, "We will continue to provide practical support for those in need of help on the ground."
