Gyeonggi Province launched the "National Sports Festival Event Planning Task Force (dedicated organization)" to ensure the successful hosting of the 108th National Sports Festival and the 47th National Para Games to be held in Hwaseong City next October, and held the first meeting on the 23rd in the main conference room of Hwaseong Sports Town.

Next year's National Sports Festival and National Para Games will be held at venues across the province, including Hwaseong Sports Town.

At the National Sports Festival Event Planning Task Force meeting held that day, participants discussed the overarching themes for the opening and closing ceremonies to realize a future-oriented smart sports festival that connects culture, environment, and participation, under the vision of the games: "The Road of Gyeonggi Toward the Future, Running Together with the Republic of Korea."

In particular, they presented a variety of opinions on the direction of production that can effectively embody Gyeonggi Province's identity and future vision, reflecting the four key initiatives of an Economic, Peace, Culture, and Happiness Sports Festival.
