Seongnam City Recruiting 300 Participants for Youth Networking Program "Connect-us"... "United by Shared Exercise Interests"

With the Theme "People Who Enjoy Exercise"

Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Shin Sangjin) will recruit 300 applicants (150 men and 150 women) for the program "Connect-us," which connects young people with similar hobbies and preferences, until March 13, 2026.

This is the second time the event is being held, following the one in December 2025, to help unmarried young adults build networks and support sustainable interaction.

This Connect-us event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on March 29, 2026, at the Wirye Militopia Hotel (Changok-dong, Sujeong District).

The theme is "People Who Enjoy Exercise."

Participants will share their preferences in exercise such as running, yoga, tennis, soccer, and baseball, and take part together in a talk concert where they can communicate with one another.

The talk concert will be hosted by comedian Kim Younghee, who is currently an MC on the entertainment show "Malja Show."

The city will form small groups of 10 people based on participants' sports interests, and provide time for conversations on topics such as health and daily routines (habits), as well as interactive exchange activities.

It is expected that, by naturally talking about and empathizing with each other's tastes and daily lives, participants will make new friends and broaden their social networks.

The event is open to unmarried office workers aged 27 to 43 (born between 1982 and 1998) whose resident registration address is in Seongnam or who work at a company located in the city.

Applications can be submitted within the recruitment period through the Seongnam City Hall website (online application → Connect-us, Local Youth Linking Project) or via the QR code on the promotional poster.

Seongnam City plans to hold the same event once more in December 2026.
