Changnyeong County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on the 23rd that Kim Jonghan, Honorary Myeon Chief of Jangma-myeon, donated 3 million won to the Hometown Love Donation Fund.

Honorary Myeon Chief Kim is from Migu Village and previously served as Head of the Changnyeong County Branch of NH Nonghyup and as Head of the Management Support Team at the Gyeongnam Business Headquarters of NH Nonghyup Bank.

Kim Jonghan, honorary myeonjang of Jangma-myeon, Changnyeong, donated KRW 3 million to the Hometown Love Fund. Provided by Changnyeong County.

Having long worked in the financial sector alongside local agriculture, he is known to have maintained his ties with his hometown even after retirement and to have continued to take a keen interest in the development of the local community.

This donation was made out of his desire to provide practical support for the development of his hometown. In particular, he is said to have decided to participate after strongly agreeing with the fact that the Hometown Love Donation Program contributes to revitalizing the local economy by offering local agricultural and livestock products as return gifts.

Honorary Myeon Chief Kim Jonghan said, "I decided to take part in this donation out of my wish for my hometown Jangma-myeon and Changnyeong County to develop into an even more vibrant region," adding, "The donation felt even more meaningful because it goes beyond simple sharing and leads to mutual growth with local farming households."
