Kim Juhyung Moves Up in World Ranking from 118th to 116th

Earns points with T-32 finish at Genesis Invitational
Scheffler, McIlroy, Fleetwood hold their top-three spots
Bridgeman 20th, Kim Siwoo 27th, Im Sungjae 70th

Kim Joohyung has moved up two spots in the world rankings for the first time in a while.

In the men's weekly Official World Golf Ranking announced on February 22 (local time), he earned 1.1752 points and rose from 118th last week to 116th. On the same day, he picked up points by finishing tied for 32nd at the second PGA Tour Signature Event of the season, the Genesis Invitational (total prize money 20 million dollars), held at Riviera Country Club (par 71, 7,383 yards) in Los Angeles, California, United States.

Kim Joohyung is a young gun with three career victories on the PGA Tour. However, he has not lifted a winner's trophy since the Shriners Children's Open in October 2023. In particular, he struggled last season, managing only a single top-10 finish in 26 tournaments. Although he once climbed as high as 11th in the world rankings, he has now fallen outside the top 100.

Scottie Scheffler (United States), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose (both England), and Collin Morikawa (United States) held their places in the top five. Jacob Bridgeman (United States), who claimed his first career victory at the Genesis Invitational, surged from 52nd last week to 20th. Among Korean players, Kim Siwoo is ranked 27th, Im Sungjae 70th, An Byeonghun 112th, and Kim Sunghyun 149th.
