"Moved by Parents' Sharing"... Pukinail Joins Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae Good Store Program

Mokpo Pukinail joined the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea's Good Store program, taking part in efforts to give back to the local community. Provided by Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.

Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae) announced on the 23rd that Pukinail, located in Mokpo, has joined the Good Store program, taking part in practicing sharing within the local community.

The Good Store program refers to shops that donate at least 30,000 won every month, regularly sharing a fixed portion of their sales with neighbors in need, and that take the lead in spreading a culture of individual giving.

According to An Ryungyeong, owner of Mokpo Pukinail, Our Chili Pepper Store, located in Sincheongho Market run by her parents, joined the Good Store program in March 2024 and has been consistently practicing sharing. Watching this, she naturally learned the meaning of giving, and after opening her nail shop, she immediately joined the Good Store program, contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing.

Through this new membership, Mokpo Pukinail will continue making regular monthly donations, and all donated funds will be used for neighbors in need within Jeonnam Province.

Pukinail owner An Ryungyeong said, "By closely watching my parents practice sharing, I was able to learn that sharing is not something only special people do, but something anyone can do in everyday life," and added, "I want to continue to share the meaning of giving and help create a warm atmosphere in the local community."

Jeonnam Sarangui-Yeolmae Secretary-General Kim Donggeuk said, "Seeing the practice of sharing passed down from the parents' generation to the children's generation serves as a great example for the local community," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that the donations delivered every month are passed on to neighbors in need within Jeonnam Province so that Jeonnam becomes a warmer place."
