This survey covered about 25,000 people in 18 cities and counties in the province, examining 120 items across five areas: housing and transportation, income and consumption, jobs and labor, and education. The survey period ran from August 22 to September 10, 2025.

According to the results, Uiryeong-gun ranked in the upper tier within the province on all major indicators under the "satisfaction with life" category. The score for "one's recent life" was 6.8 points, placing the county second in the province; "overall life" scored 6.6 points, ranking third; and "happiness yesterday" scored 6.6 points, ranking second.

In contrast, the negatively framed item "worries yesterday" scored 3.6 points, the lowest in the province. This score indicates that residents of Uiryeong-gun feel a high level of life satisfaction and happiness, while experiencing relatively few everyday worries, which is a characteristic of the region.

Perceptions of settlement conditions were also positive. The share of respondents who said they were willing to continue living in the area for more than 10 years was the second highest in the province, indicating a high level of medium- to long-term settlement intention in Uiryeong.

In addition, in the survey on satisfaction with the residential environment, satisfaction with infrastructure such as roads and water and sewage systems, as well as satisfaction with parking lot use, both ranked first in the province, showing that overall evaluations of living infrastructure were very favorable.

Furthermore, in the question about the outlook for the local community over the next one to two years, 49.3% of respondents described it as a "relatively good place to live," the highest proportion in the province, indicating a high level of residents' confidence in the region's short-term conditions.

Based on the indicators revealed in this survey, Uiryeong-gun plans to review settlement conditions and living infrastructure and to continue pursuing changes that residents can tangibly feel.

County Governor Oh Taewan said, "This survey reflects the process of change that residents and the administration have created together," adding, "We will continue to steadily improve living conditions that provide practical help in residents' lives."
