The event was organized to look back on his innovative achievements as the 7th popularly elected mayor of Goyang, as described in the two books, and to share with citizens the future vision for Goyang based on the management philosophy he built after leaving office as CEO of Gyeonggi Province Co., Ltd.

The event opened with a charming and lively pre-ceremony performance by children, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere from the very beginning. The venue was packed with several hundred Goyang citizens and major political figures, including former Deputy Prime Minister Yoo Eunhye and National Assembly member Han Junho. Citizens even filled the corridor outside the hall, demonstrating the strong interest in former mayor Lee Jaejun.

In particular, he referred to the management results he achieved during his tenure as CEO of Gyeonggi Province Co., Ltd., stressing, "When an efficient management mindset is introduced into the public sector, the welfare and benefits that citizens actually feel can grow even greater."

He went on to say, "Cases such as the Safe Call system and drive-through testing centers, which began in Goyang and became global standards, are all the result of intense efforts to resolve citizens' inconveniences," and expressed his ambition by adding, "Now Goyang must move beyond the era of administration and enter an 'era of management' that puts citizens' interests first."

As the final part of the event, the candidate, key guests, and citizens took a commemorative photo together, shouting fighting in support of "Goyang's future".
