At the meetings held with the Fort Lee Board of Education and the Paramus Board of Education, the delegation and officials from both sides, including Dr. Howard Learner, Executive Director, shared each institution's key education policies and priority projects and exchanged in-depth views on potential areas for mutual cooperation.

The main agenda items discussed included: cooperation on education policy research; school district and student transportation support policies; building an education system based on cooperation with local governments; and support for developing teacher professionalism.

The delegation also visited Bergen County Academy in Bergen County, New Jersey, where, together with Principal Russell Davis, they observed cases of operating specialized curricula and the related administrative and financial support systems, and held practical consultations on overall school management.

Bergen Academy is one of the top public magnet schools in New Jersey and a leading educational institution that operates specialized curricula centered on students' freedom of choice. It is expected to serve as a benchmarking case for the model currently being developed by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education under the initiative titled "Branding Better Small-School Curricula."
