Dong-A Pharmaceutical Launches "Selparex Potential Height Growth" to Support Teen Height Growth

Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on the 23rd that its health functional food brand Selparex has launched a new product targeting teenage height growth, "Selparex Potential Height Growth."

Selparex Potential Height Growth uses, as its main ingredient, FGO (Fermented Grown Oyster extract), a lactobacillus-fermented oyster extract whose height-growth functionality has been recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. In human clinical trials, the intake group showed an additional 0.87 cm increase in height after 24 weeks compared with the control group.

The product contains vitamins D and K, a group of B vitamins that help with energy production and vitality, as well as zinc and selenium, which are necessary for immune function.

It also contains Rhodiola rosea extract, a functional ingredient recognized as "helping to relieve fatigue caused by stress," reflecting a nutritional design that takes into account the highly stressful environment of adolescence due to schoolwork and private academy life.

Selparex Potential Height Growth is a dual-formulation product consisting of two tablets and a liquid form, and can be taken conveniently once a day.
