Limpid's AI Pet Precision Nutrition Solution Enters U.S. Market
Leveraging DrTail's Local Data
Bio pet food startup Limpid has joined forces with pet healthcare startup DrTail to enter the U.S. pet healthcare market.
Limpid announced on the 23rd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with DrTail and will begin in earnest to develop a U.S. market entry strategy for its "AI Pet Precision Nutrition Solution," which is currently under development.
The core of this partnership is leveraging DrTail's U.S. local market data and network. DrTail currently holds a vast pool of pet healthcare data accumulated through more than 270,000 artificial intelligence (AI) veterinary consultations with over 700,000 pet owners in the United States. Based on this, Limpid plans to develop customized nutrition solutions tailored to the needs of U.S. pet owners.
The two companies also agreed to cooperate in analyzing trends and consumer behavior in the U.S. pet healthcare market and in identifying local partner companies. In addition, they plan to explore long-term collaboration measures that take into account each company's technologies and service characteristics.
Limpid CEO Kim Heesoo said, "A deep understanding of the local market is essential for the U.S. expansion of our AI Pet Precision Nutrition Solution," adding, "With the pet healthcare data and market experience that DrTail has accumulated over the past five years in the United States, we will be able to establish a more effective localization strategy."
