Samsung Electronics announced on the 23rd that it has launched the new "Bespoke AI Ice Water Purifier," which offers powerful ice-making capacity of up to 8 kg per day and AI-based personalized user features.

The new product features a "four-stage filter system" officially certified by NSF International, a water purifier and drinking water testing organization officially approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

The four-stage filter system includes an ultra-precision filter that is 1,000 times thinner than a human hair, which removes 82 types of harmful substances, ranging from microplastics to hazardous heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and chromium, as well as microcystin. This is among the highest levels available in countertop water purifiers released in Korea.

The product is also equipped with an "AI Customized Sterilization" function that sterilizes the direct water pipe, ice room, and ice tray through electrolysis. The direct water pipe is sterilized every 3 days, and the ice room and ice tray are sterilized every 30 days. Through this process, it removes 99.9% of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Listeria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

In particular, it learns the user's drinking-water usage patterns and automatically performs sterilization during times when the purifier is not in use.

The direct water pipe is made of stainless steel, which is highly resistant to contamination and corrosion. With the "Automatic Drain" function, any remaining water is automatically discharged every 4 hours when the product is not used for a long period, preventing the growth of microorganisms.

It also offers AI-based personalized user features. The new product supports the AI voice assistant "Bixby," allowing users to operate the purifier with voice commands alone. In particular, the "Voice ID" function distinguishes between family members' voices and automatically dispenses water according to each member's preset volume and mode.

Users can precisely adjust the dispensing volume in 10 ml increments between 50 ml and 1,000 ml via SmartThings or the product's screen. The temperature can be set in 5-degree increments up to a maximum of 90 degrees Celsius.

In addition, users can save up to 20 frequently used dispensing presets, including 38 recipes for coffee brewing and instant noodles.

The front screen of the product can display weather information and also allows timer settings. In particular, users can set and check the timer conveniently by voice via Bixby while cooking.

Samsung Electronics has applied "Smart Lighting" to the water outlet and ice outlet of the new product so that the purifier can be used conveniently even at night or in dark environments.

The product is available in three colors: Satin Beige, Satin Grayge, and Soapstone Charcoal. The factory price is 2.39 million won.
