According to Incheon International Airport Corporation and others on the 14th, a total of 718,880 people (including transfer passengers) will depart from the airport over the six days from the 13th to the 18th.

Japan is the most popular destination, with 185,432 travelers. China will receive 123,486 visitors, Southeast Asia 204,084, and Europe 35,740.

By date, the second day of the holiday is expected to see the highest number of departing passengers, with 130,675 people leaving the country. The last day of the Lunar New Year holiday, the 18th, is expected to be the least busy, with 104,721 passengers.

In preparation for increased parking demand during the holiday, the corporation will implement special transportation measures, including securing 4,550 additional parking spaces. It also plans to strengthen congestion management on airport access roads by deploying additional guidance staff during peak hours.

The corporation urged passengers to make active use of public transportation and smart services, noting that arriving at the airport excessively early could worsen congestion.
