Born in 2007, Im graduated from Gyeonggi Elementary School and Whimoon Middle School before completing Whimoon High School. He recently drew attention when it became known that he had been admitted to the Department of Economics at Seoul National University after missing only one question on the College Scholastic Ability Test.

On the 2nd, Im also appeared as a speaker at a grade management seminar for prospective first-year high school students at a private entrance exam academy in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where he shared his study methods. He personally prepared lecture materials titled "A Whimoon Life with No Regrets" and explained to his juniors how to manage their school grades and how to study for each subject on the CSAT.

Im, who is known to have excelled particularly in mathematics, said, "Solving roughly 2,000 problems for each school exam helped build my mathematical stamina," adding, "I recommend studying in a way that prepares you for questions that require higher-order thinking skills."

Im also advised, "I strongly recommend completely cutting off smartphones and games for three years." He added, "It greatly helped my concentration and immersion, and the joy I felt after three years when all the exams were over was quite satisfying."
