Agency Belif Lab announced on the 10th that ENHYPEN member Park Sunghoon has completed his official schedule as an honorary ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

Through his agency that day, Park Sunghoon said, "I never imagined that I would stand at the Olympics again in a different role, when my very first dream as a child was to become an Olympian," adding, "Through taking part in the torch relay and watching the competitions, I was able to relive the passion and memories I felt as an athlete. It was a precious experience that I will remember for the rest of my life."

On the 5th, Park Sunghoon ran as a torchbearer and completed his section amid huge crowds. On the 6th, he became the only Korean to walk the opening ceremony red carpet at the official invitation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He then visited the Korea House promotional pavilion and the Samsung House in turn, engaging in cultural diplomacy by introducing Korean culture and technological prowess.

The support he showed on site was also passionate. Park Sunghoon attended the figure skating team short program on the 7th and the women’s 1000m speed skating final on the 9th, giving strength to the Korean delegation. In particular, at the figure skating venue, he made a surprise appearance in the pre-competition countdown segment at the request of the IOC, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. Following news of his visit, foreign media outlets from countries including Italy and Greece flocked to interview him at Korea House and at the Main Press Centre (MPC).

The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee said, "As a former figure skater and a K-pop artist representing the nation, Park Sunghoon has much in common with our national team athletes," adding, "We are grateful that an honorary ambassador with such unique symbolic significance has taken the lead in promotional activities, including the 'SHOUT OUT' challenge." The committee went on to say, "We hope his support will give our athletes the strength to perform well."
