Wildfire Breaks Out in Yeongpyeongsan Area of Paju... Extinguished in 50 Minutes

At around 1:38 p.m. on February 1, a wildfire broke out in the Yeongpyeongsan area of Beobwon-eup, Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

The forestry authorities deployed two firefighting helicopters and 18 vehicles, and managed to extinguish the fire in about 50 minutes.

No casualties have been reported.

The forestry authorities plan to dispatch a wildfire investigation team to determine the exact area affected and the cause of the fire.
