SK Hynix Surpasses 930,000 Won
The KOSPI surpassed the 5,300 mark, reaching a new all-time high. After hitting its peak, it fell back to the 5,250 level.
As of 10:30 a.m. on January 30, 2026, the KOSPI was trading at 5,315.52 points, up 94.27 points (1.81%) from the previous trading day. The index opened at 5,210.35 and saw its gains widen during the session as individual investors led the buying trend. By 10:50 a.m., it was trading at 5,261.90 points.
SK Hynix surged more than 8%, with its share price exceeding 930,000 won per share. The company announced that in the fourth quarter of last year, it achieved record-breaking quarterly results with sales of 32.8267 trillion won and operating profit of 19.1696 trillion won. Notably, its operating margin reached 57%, surpassing Taiwan's TSMC, which posted 54%. SK Square, which holds a 5.4% stake in SK Hynix, also saw a sharp increase in its share price as the value of its holdings became more prominent.
