This exhibition is a continuation of the first part presented in November last year, and explores the landscape "after collapse" from a broader perspective. It focuses on the new beings and sensations that emerge in the aftermath of collapse, viewing collapse not as an end, but as a condition for new creation.
"The Collapse Manual Ep.02" features seven artists: Kim Daewook, Ahn Jaehong, Oh Myocho, Yoon Miryu, Lee Yongbin, Park Woongkyu, and Shin Mikyung. Through various media including painting, sculpture, and installation, the exhibition deconstructs familiar forms and orders, and explores the possibilities of images and sensations generated from the remnants.
The exhibition visually depicts scenes where extinction and creation coexist amid changes in the environment, technology, and social structures, further expanding on the critical perspectives presented in the first part.
In particular, it centers on the question, "What remains and what newly emerges after collapse?" and sequentially presents the process by which perception is reconstructed under the conditions of change.
Director Oh Juhyun, who curated the exhibition, stated, "Collapse is not a rupture or loss, but a potential force that prompts us to seek new possibilities," adding, "The exhibition is designed to allow visitors to experience the vitality and signs of change that persist even after collapse, through the sculptural language of the participating artists."
"The Collapse Manual Ep.02" will be held at the AOD Museum in Mapo-gu, Seoul, from January 30 to March 17, 2026. Admission is free, and the museum is closed every Monday. As parking space is limited, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.
The Dalim Cultural Foundation is a nonprofit foundation established based on Dalim Biotech's cultural and artistic support initiatives. It continues to broaden the connection between art and audiences through contemporary art exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and other related programs.
