The Daegu Cheongsong Alumni Association plans to use this general meeting and inauguration ceremony as an opportunity to further strengthen its network of expatriates and expand its role in contributing to local community development through ongoing exchanges with their hometown.
The association is evolving from simply being a 'group that remembers the hometown' to a living community that connects people and regions. The presence of more than 300 attendees who filled Wedding Vienna demonstrated that a strong sense of solidarity under the name of 'Cheongsong' is still very much alive. It remains to be seen whether the new leadership will become the central axis connecting this solidarity to the future.
