On January 23, Mr. A posted on social networking services, stating, "Dxxxchi published an exclusive article using the provocative keyword 'Injection Aunt' as the headline, turning the entire nation against me and making me the subject of gossip based solely on a 'manager's tip-off' that was not adequately verified." He went on to criticize certain YouTube channels, social media platforms, and the SBS program, saying, "They focused solely on driving up views and attracting attention."
He added, "Although the truth of this case can only be revealed through the statements I have sincerely provided to the investigators and the objective results of the investigation, some YouTubers, social media channels, and SBS's 'Curious Story Y' have focused on driving up views and attention by using the keyword 'Injection Aunt.' As a result, misinformation and gossip about my private life are spreading in a distorted form."
Additionally, Mr. A stated, "The only place where I can tell the truth is the investigative agency," and shared a screenshot of ChatGPT's response regarding the Protection of Communications Secrets Act and the Information and Communications Network Act. This is interpreted as implying the possibility of legal action in response to the public release of messenger conversations, which has become a key issue in the case.
The "Injection Aunt" controversy began in December of last year when former managers who sued Park Narae made revelations. They claimed that Park Narae had received injection treatments at her home, at Mr. A’s residence, and in her vehicle, and raised suspicions that psychotropic drugs were prescribed by proxy. During this process, questions arose regarding whether Mr. A holds a medical license.
As the controversy over his medical license grew, Mr. A posted on social media claiming that he had studied medicine in Inner Mongolia and worked as a professor at Fugang Medical College Hospital, asserting that he is a licensed doctor. He stated, "At Inner Mongolia Fugang Medical College Hospital, I was the youngest professor ever, both among locals and foreigners," and also mentioned his experience related to attracting patients to a Korean plastic surgery center.
Park Narae also explained, "I understood that Mr. A had a medical license, and the injections were simple nutritional supplements, not propofol."
However, the medical community countered that the Fugang Medical College mentioned by Mr. A is a non-existent "ghost medical school." Medical associations stressed that, based on Korea’s regulations that do not recognize medical degrees or licenses from Chinese medical schools, Mr. A’s actions constitute illegal medical practice.
The police are currently investigating allegations of Mr. A’s illegal medical activities. On December 31, authorities imposed a travel ban on Mr. A and conducted searches of his residence and other locations as part of a compulsory investigation.
In addition to Park Narae, YouTuber Eatzalbeun Haetnim and SHINee's Key also suspended their broadcasting activities after it became known that they had received house calls from Mr. A. It has been reported that they stated they believed Mr. A was a licensed doctor.
