Four Courses Including AI and Digital Skills Offered
All Training Provided Free of Charge
Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 23 that it will begin sequentially recruiting participants for its "2026 Customized Vocational Training Program" starting from February 9. The program aims to support women who have experienced career interruptions and those seeking reemployment in returning to economic activity.
This program goes beyond simple knowledge transfer by combining practical on-site training with employment linkage. The courses offered include a total of four tracks: ▲ Practical Software Testing Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) ▲ Training for Apartment Complex ERP Office Workers ▲ Multi-Office Worker Training Utilizing AI ▲ Senior Cognitive and Emotional Specialist Course. Each course provides step-by-step support, from acquiring certifications to on-site corporate training and employment linkage. All training is provided free of charge.
The first course of the year, "Practical Software Testing Using AI," will accept applications from February 9 to March 3. The training will run from March 17 to June 4. The city plans to recruit participants for the remaining courses sequentially according to their respective schedules.

The city has achieved strong results in terms of the effectiveness of its vocational training programs. Last year, 76 out of 80 participants successfully found employment, resulting in a 95% employment rate. This year, the city plans to further maximize completion and employment outcomes through systematic learning management and step-by-step course operations.
Park Seungwon, Mayor of Gwangmyeong, said, "We have strengthened corporate partnerships and field-oriented training so that vocational education and training can lead to real jobs, not just learning. I hope that women who are hesitant to return to work due to career interruptions will regain their confidence through this program and move on to stable employment."
