NH Investment & Securities Surpasses 6,000 High-Net-Worth Clients With Assets Over 3 Billion Won

As of January 14, the number of clients with assets of 3 billion won or more stood at 6,323, marking a 51% increase compared to the end of 2024. This rapid growth has solidified the company's position as a major player in the wealth management (WM) market.

The WM Division at NH Investment & Securities has strengthened its competitiveness in wealth management by offering differentiated VIP membership services for clients with assets of 3 billion won or more, as well as its ultra-high-net-worth family management platform, the "Family Office Service." As a result, the total assets managed by the WM Division increased by approximately 20 trillion won year-on-year, recording the highest growth rate in the industry.

In particular, the growth of the Family Office Service, a platform for managing ultra-high-net-worth families composed of wealth management experts, has been remarkable. The model, which integrates personal and corporate assets in collaboration with the Investment Banking (IB) Division, has received a strong response from ultra-high-net-worth clients. The Family Office Service currently serves 229 families, a 61% increase compared to the end of 2024. Among newly joined clients, about 35% either transferred their assets from other firms or are new inflows. Currently, the minimum asset requirement for joining the Family Office Service is around 30 billion won.

Going forward, the WM Division plans to further strengthen its dedicated Family Office Service team and provide a "total solution" that goes beyond simple asset management to cover the entire life cycle of a family, including inheritance and gift tax consulting, business succession, real estate consulting, and support for establishing foundations and family corporations.

Bae Kwangsoo, Head of the WM Division, stated, "This achievement is the result of our continued commitment to providing sincere, comprehensive wealth management services that put client value first." He added, "This year, we will further enhance our VIP services and Family Office Service for high-net-worth clients, aiming to become the leading wealth management institution not only in Korea but also across Asia."
