Mohet Achieves 191 GWh Annual Power Generation Last Year, Up 148% Year-on-Year

Power Sales Revenue Reaches 38.9 Billion Won

The annual power generation and power sales revenue of the renewable energy investment platform "Mohet" more than doubled last year compared to the previous year.

H Energy, which operates Mohet, released its "2025 year-end performance indicators" on January 20. Mohet is a renewable energy investment platform based on a "renewable energy cooperative" model, officially launched by H Energy in 2020. The funds from cooperative members are used for installing rooftop solar power plants nationwide. The renewable electricity generated at these plants is sold to Korea Electric Power Corporation and power generation subsidiaries through long-term fixed-price power purchase agreements, and the profits are paid to cooperative members as interest. Rather than complex derivatives, the structure distributes cash flows generated from renewable energy production facilities directly to cooperative members.

According to this year-end report, the annual cooperative participation fund last year reached 177 billion won, up 34% from the previous year. Since its launch in 2020, the cumulative cooperative participation fund has exceeded 420 billion won, and the number of members has surpassed 210,000.

Operating performance also increased. In 2025, power generation reached 191 GWh, a 148% increase from the previous year (77 GWh). Power sales revenue was recorded at 38.9 billion won, up 113% from the previous year. The expansion of distributed energy assets is driving steady growth in power generation and sales indicators.

Mohet is strengthening its credibility by conducting regular external audits by accounting firms and providing transparent financial and operational information. It has also established a risk management system. Mohet has adopted a structure that invests in an entire portfolio of power plants, rather than individual plants. This design minimizes the impact on overall returns even if a particular power plant suffers losses due to unexpected events such as natural disasters.
