This meeting, organized by the Future Urban Construction Division, was arranged to listen to voices from the field regarding large-scale development projects. It was attended by local architects, including the presidents of the Gimpo Regional Architectural Association and the Supervisory Association. The meeting began with an explanation of the progress of major development projects such as Gimpo Hangang 2 Compact City and the Pungmu Station Area Urban Development Project, followed by the sharing of on-site challenges and the collection of suggestions.
The attending architects exchanged in-depth opinions on the need for policy support that reflects on-site conditions, issues with existing district unit plans for development sites, the direction of future development projects, and institutional improvements. They also agreed on the necessity of establishing ongoing communication channels between the administration and the field.
The head of the Future Urban Construction Division stated, "We will make active efforts to cooperate and achieve mutual growth with local architects as we promote development projects," adding, "We will continue to strengthen communication with the field through regular meetings in the future."
Meanwhile, Gimpo City plans to closely review the issues raised at this meeting, connect them to practical policies, and share the relevant materials with the architects.
