Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital Holds 'Jaseng Medical Academy Winter Internship Program'

Medical Students from Four Countries Including the United States, Canada, Thailand, and Korea Participate

Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital announced on January 16 that it had held the '2026 Jaseng Medical Academy Winter Internship Program' for two weeks starting from January 5, targeting overseas medical students and pre-medical students.

A total of five medical students and future healthcare professionals selected from four countries-the United States, Canada, Thailand, and Korea-participated in this program. The participants are currently attending or have graduated from institutions such as the University of Florida, University of Texas at San Antonio, Northeastern University, Pomona College, and Kasetsart University in Thailand. Over the course of two weeks, they experienced Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital’s clinical system and treatment environment, broadening their understanding of Korean medicine and integrative medicine.

The internship program consisted of clinical observation at Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital (including outpatient care and treatment processes), lectures on Korean medicine and integrative medicine theory, hands-on practice of major treatment techniques such as pharmacopuncture, Chuna manual therapy, and motion acupuncture, Q&A sessions with medical staff, production of Continuing Medical Education (CME) lectures, and a final presentation and completion ceremony. In addition, the participants visited the Jaseng Medi-Bio Center to tour pharmacopuncture manufacturing and research facilities and experienced the research system aimed at the scientific advancement and standardization of Korean medicine.
