This information session is organized under the theme "2027 University Admissions: Finding a Path Amidst Change." Its purpose is to provide highly reliable and up-to-date information to students and parents who are experiencing confusion due to rapidly changing education policies, such as the full implementation of the high school credit system and fluctuations in the difficulty level of the College Scholastic Ability Test, and to offer practical guidance for university admissions preparation.

The session will be held in two parts. In the first part, Professor Lee Yoonpyo of Korea University, who has years of experience as an admissions consultant in Daechi-dong, will serve as the speaker. Professor Lee plans to analyze the current admissions landscape in Gangnam Daechi-dong and share strategies optimized for the local education environment, based on case studies of students from the Hoengseong area.

In the second part, Kim Taeyoung, Director of the Hoengseong Talent Development Center, will introduce the center’s systematic academic and admissions support system tailored to the changing admissions system. In particular, he will provide detailed examples of designing customized career and admissions roadmaps that take into account each student’s individual characteristics.

Nam Bokhyeon, Head of the Education and Sports Division, said, "I hope this information session will serve as a clear guide for students and parents who are struggling with the changing admissions environment," adding, "We will make multifaceted efforts to bridge the gap in educational information between metropolitan and local areas and to enhance the academic competitiveness of local students."
