Additionally, Dr. Sechang Kim (supervised by Professor Jung Wongyo) from the center has been hired as a researcher at the National Marine Biodiversity Institute of Korea and will focus on the development of marine bio-materials based on AI and big data starting at the end of January.

Previously, Dr. Kyungjin Cho (supervised by Professor Kim Youngmok), an alumnus of the center, was hired as a researcher at the Smart Manufacturing Business Group of the Korea Food Research Institute in October of last year, where he is engaged in developing and commercializing core technologies for digital transformation and intelligence in food manufacturing.

With the support of the Marine Bionics Convergence Technology Center, these researchers have conducted a wide range of interdisciplinary studies, played key roles in numerous research projects, and achieved outstanding research results. They are recognized for greatly contributing to strengthening the center's research capabilities and promoting international collaborative research.

Furthermore, they have published numerous papers in the fields of marine, bio, and medical sciences, received awards at domestic and international academic conferences, registered patents, and secured national research projects, earning recognition for their excellent research achievements.

The Marine Bionics Convergence Technology Center and its researchers plan to continue leading the development of advanced marine convergence biomedical technologies and the training of professional research personnel for the nation's cutting-edge marine industries, while expanding academic exchanges and cooperation with researchers both domestically and internationally.
