High1 Resort, operated by Kangwon Land (Interim CEO Choi Cheolkyu), announced on January 15 that it recorded a historic high of 7 million visitors last year and will launch a customer appreciation promotion in return for this support.

Last year, Kangwon Land reopened its wellness center after renovations and strengthened its differentiated wellness content by utilizing Baekdudaegan’s forest resources, further establishing its position as a global wellpotainment (Wellness+Sports+Entertainment) resort.


Thanks to these efforts, High1 Resort surpassed 7 million visitors last year, the highest ever, and to commemorate this milestone and express gratitude to its customers, the resort has prepared the “Journey of Thanks with Customers” promotion.

First, throughout February, Kangwon Land will run the “Double Rewards Promotion,” doubling the rewards points accumulation rate from 3% to 6% for High1 mobile app members, which can be used like cash at major facilities within High1 Resort.


There are also tailored benefits for customers who enjoy gourmet dining and leisure. Special lunch menu discount coupons will be provided for the newly opened Japanese restaurant Rinka and the popular restaurant La Vista during February and March. In addition, preschool children accompanied by parents will receive free admission to Water World until the end of March.


Furthermore, the “7 Million Visitor Appreciation 2-Night Special” package will be available in limited quantities from January 19 to February 28. This package includes a two-night hotel stay, two lift tickets, a 15% discount at food and beverage outlets, and a complimentary Illiyoon lotion as a token of appreciation.

Lee Minho, Acting Head of Kangwon Land’s Tourism Marketing Division, stated, “The fact that 7 million customers visited High1 is proof that our resort has firmly established itself as Korea’s premier vacation destination,” adding, “We will continue to expand our differentiated wellness content and further solidify our position as a global integrated resort.”
