Premium Fabric Infused with Naturally Derived Menthol
Yuhan-Kimberly announced on January 15 that it has launched the 'Kleenex Soompeon Tissue,' designed with winter and seasonal transitions in mind.
Kleenex Soompeon Tissue has been developed using a premium fabric containing moisturizing lotion to minimize irritation when frequently blowing or wiping the nose in dry winter or transitional air. It also includes naturally derived menthol ingredients.
The tissue contains menthol encapsulated in invisible microcapsules, which burst when the tissue is rubbed or crumpled, providing a long-lasting refreshing sensation. The capsules are made from naturally derived ingredients listed in the Food Additive Code, and have passed microplastic-free verification, skin irritation tests, and alternative eye irritation tests.
Another feature is its thick, three-ply natural pulp fabric, which resists tearing even when exposed to moisture or contaminants. This allows for clean use without worrying about chapping the nose or getting residue on your hands, even with frequent use.
The Yuhan-Kimberly Gimcheon plant, where the new product is manufactured, has obtained the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®) CoC certification (FSC®-C207933), which is awarded to companies and sites that manufacture, process, and distribute wood. As a result, all Kleenex facial tissue products produced at the Gimcheon plant are officially certified for sustainability throughout the process, from raw materials sourced from certified forests to final processing.
A Kleenex representative said, "Building on the successful launch of our previous 'Kopenhan Tissue,' we have expanded our product lineup with seasonally specialized offerings. We will continue to provide differentiated customer experiences with innovative products that address hidden needs."
