Yeonggwang Hongnong Substation and Hanbit Nuclear Power Plant Provide 250 First Aid Kits for Community Cooperation

Yeonggwang Police Station Hongnong Substation and Hanbit Nuclear Power Plant announced on the 12th that they had delivered 250 first aid kits to village welfare centers within their jurisdiction as part of a local community support initiative.

This project was launched to strengthen the health and everyday safety of township residents.

The first aid kit support was organized by Hanbit Nuclear Power Plant to fulfill its commitment to social responsibility and cooperation with the local community. Police and local resident organizations participated together, achieving tangible results in improving everyday safety.

On the day of the event, staff from Hongnong Substation and members of the Community Safety Council personally visited the village welfare centers to distribute the first aid kits.

The distributed first aid kits are equipped with basic medical supplies needed for emergency care, making it possible to respond quickly to emergencies in village welfare centers, which are frequently used by the elderly and vulnerable.

Kim Jongsin, Chief of Yeonggwang Police Station, said, "This first aid kit support project is a meaningful example of collaboration among the police, Hanbit Nuclear Power Plant, and local residents to protect the lives and safety of township residents. We will continue to work closely with the community to promote safety initiatives that residents can truly feel."

A representative from Hanbit Nuclear Power Plant also stated, "The safety and health of local residents are the most important values. We hope this first aid kit support project will provide real help in everyday emergencies, and we will continue to engage in various social contribution activities together with the local community."

Meanwhile, Hongnong Substation, in cooperation with the Community Safety Council, continues to carry out township-centered public safety and crime prevention activities, as well as disaster and accident prevention efforts.
