Shinwoo Industries Donates 3 Million Won for Local Welfare and Scholarships for Low-Income Families

Gongsan-myeon in Naju-si, Jeollanam-do announced on January 12 that Shinwoo Industries Co., Ltd. recently donated 3 million won in love funds for neighbors in need.

Shinwoo Industries, a recycling processing company located in Gongsan-myeon, has been consistently spreading warmth in the local community through various sharing activities, such as donating scholarships for local children and teenagers since 2017.

Of the donated funds, 1.1 million won will be used for the local Social Welfare Council’s specialized welfare projects, while the remaining 1.9 million won will be provided as scholarships to five students from low-income families in the area.

CEO Ha Taehyung said, "Although it may be a small gesture, I hope it brings hope to both local welfare projects and students who are passionate about their studies despite difficult circumstances."
